Bus Walkers: Appearance Although the Bus Walker employed by President Jimmy are made to resemble the AT-ATs used during the Hoth Battle of Star Wars Episode V--The Empire Strikes Back, they have the same tentacles used by the walking machines of War of the Worlds. It would make a lot of sense, considering that the ATs were inspired by the walking machines of the aforementioned movie.

It is also possible that the Empire Strikes Back goof may have been the reason they changed the years around. Clara's Dirty Little Secret

The scene where Wooldoor Sockbat gets pulled into Clara's vagina and nearly crushed to death is a spoof on the infamous scene in A New Hope, where Luke, Han and Princess Leia are trapped in one of the garbage mashers on the Death Star, but are saved from being crushed by C-3PO and R2-D2 shutting it down. When Clara's vagina begins to close in on Wooldoor, he calls out, "3PO! 3PO!" on what looks to be a comlink. Wooldoor gets trapped in a "place" (it is a family site after all) that resembles the trash compactor from the Death Star. In a later montage that shows what is happening with everyone, he has a comlink and yells "3PO! 3PO!"

Requiem for a Reality Show

Due to her constant eating, Toot resembles Jabba the Hutt, complete with Xandir as Princess Slave Princess Leia / Oola and Ling-Ling as Salacious Crumb. Toot says, "Pass me the Han Solo," and then eats what appears to be Han Solo frozen in carbonite (as he was at the end of The Empire Strikes Back and beginning of Return of the Jedi), scooping it up like ice cream. Another reference to Return of the Jedi is Toot's gullet's resemblance to the creature called Sarlacc when she swallows the entire contents of the fridge. The characters are split in two teams and compete for food: one team gets all the food they want and the other teams starves. - In one scene, Toot (the black & white Betty Book look-alike) has gotten huge from all the food she's eaten and has Xandir (a gay reference to Link from the Zelda games) chained to her (like Leia was chained to Jabba) wearing a pink bikini. He even had the gold armband on. - After eating a few extra items, Toot says, 'Pass me the Han Solo' and Xandir wheels in an ice cream copy of Han in Carbonite.

The One Wherein There Is a Big Twist

In a deleted scene from this episode (which appears as an extra on the DVD), Toot tries to convince Foxxy to join her in her plan to blow up the house, in much the same way Darth Vader tried to convince Luke Skywalker to join him on the dark side in The Empire Strikes Back. Vader's speech would be parodied again in Season Two's The Lemon-AIDS Walk.

Foxxy vs. the Board of Education

The floating ghost of Ling-Ling helping Foxxy is just like Obi-Wan Kenobi helping Luke Skywalker in the original Star Wars trilogy. Every time someone pulls the lever, a trapdoor opens and drops the victim into a pit with a beast similar to the Rancor Beast from Star Wars Episode VI: Return of the Jedi (though Ling-Ling calls it a Zalganout beast). The joke is taken one step further when the Beast itself pulls another lever, dropping the victim into yet another location. This episode contains a rancor character. (Thanks to Justin Batt for this reference!) ...further explanation...When Spanky reveals he doesn't have health insurance, his doctor pulls a lever and drops him into a Rancor pit.

Captain Hero's Marriage Pact

Captain Hero's fantasy of an ideal wedding is a parody of the final scene in A New Hope, with himself and UFG standing in for Han Solo and Luke. Princess Clara is Princess Leia, Xandir is C-3PO, Wooldoor is R2-D2, and Toot is Chewbacca. The episode makes another Star Wars reference when Foxxy attempts to write lyrics to her song, but all she manages to put down on paper is "Foxxy + Lando Calrissian" written inside a giant heart- referring, of course, to the character played by Billy Dee Williams. Captain Hero's dream marriage sequence has Princess Leia giving him and Unusually Flexible Girl medals in a scene that mirrors the ceremony at the end of A New Hope (with Clara as Leia, Xandir as 3PO, Wooldoor as R2 and Toot as Chewie)

Alzheimer's That Ends Well

After Toot reveals the seniors' secret about Alzheimer's disease being fake, they enlist bounty hunter Boba Fett to track down "the fat pig". He ends up killing Spanky. After the roommates think that Toots is getting too old and has Alzheimer's they send her to an old folks home. She then finds out that Alzheimer's isn't real and the old people just fake it so they don't have to go home. She promises not to reveal the secret, which she breaks. The old folks take out a bounty on her and call Boba Fett Boba Fett actually jumps out of the bushes, springs his trap, then flies away with his jetpack. AND another version When Toot escapes from the nursing home full of Alzheimer's fakers, one of the old folks calls in a hit on her...to Boba Fett. Later, Spanky tries to start the scooter Toot drove away from the nursing home and it blows up, sending his head rolling right to Boba Fett's feet. Then Boba takes off with his jetpack.
