++WANTED++ : In 1993 and rebroadcasted in 1998?, Carrie Fisher hosted a similar Sci-Fi channel broadcast of the Star Wars movies. %20 would like to add those hosting segments to the SWUE04 disc. http://articles.latimes.com/1993-07-17/entertainment/ca-13956_1_star-wars

Title Explanation
"STAR WARS - THE ULTIMATE EXPERIENCE Is Forever ..One Last Time" is a combination of three past Star Wars marketing campaigns. And when those campaigns are combined, incongruities occur.
Star Wars The Ultimate Experience was used for the 1996 Sci-Fi channel broadcast of the Star Wars movies. The next year the Special Edition versions would have a theatrical release, making this Ultimate Experience version obsolete. Star Wars Is Forever was the internal Kenner marketing campaign slogan. To build support for the toy line, Kenner for each movie made a promotional video given to members of the production and distribution chain to boost enthusiasm. The described 'advertising blitz' laid out the plans which took Star Wars from the screen to products and tie-ins. Between the Star Wars campaign and the Jedi sales odessey the numbers would grow from 6 million to a staggering 2.5 billion dollars. At which point they modified the tag line to 'Star Wars Truly ..Is Forever'. Star Wars Trilogy ..One Last Time was the home video campaign slogan for the VHS Trilogy box set. Soon there after, the Special Editions would be released theatrically. This title was chosen to highlight the problems which arise from marketing schpeel. When the deliberate creative decisions counter act the pasts deliberate creative decisions. The result ends up being none of the above.

DVD Menu Options
The Menu design attempts to recreate the early home video era remote flipping and video generation loss experiences. Each Star Wars era (the years between movies) menu begins with a selection of the broadcasts found in the commercial break programming. The transition from Intro to Main Menu shows an alternative view of the opening crawl, displaying the point of intersection between the 'STAR WARS' logo and traveling crawl. Talking head, Billy Dee Williams, introduces the upcoming feature while again more bits and pieces of that era's detritus pops up in the main logo.
