FadDeserter&Radio - ReadMe

in high school i used to spend friday and saturday nights listening to the radio, (everyone yell "Closet Case"!) anyway i would sit in front of the radio tapeing random bits, mostly because the family stereo had digital buttons i could get really small bits if i set my mind to it.  so eventually i found out about rap djs and the idea of sampling, i figured why not tape the best parts of songs.  so between complete songs i would have all these little bits and pieces,  so this FadDeserter track is three of those tapes (editing out the complete songs) played at the same time.  now it's just really funny to hear segments like "1988 was a big year for rap".  plus i also find it interesting that i would record certain bits with lyrics like "i got plans and they don't include you", "i can do what i want to do", "shut up already", "i'm not aware of too many things", "if you need a friend", "why should i stop", "a dream we all dream of"  i've got some serious issues.
