All of the money donated to the ET website went to **REDACTED (b)(6), (b)(7)c, (k)(2)**, and **REDACTED (b)(6), (b)(7)c, (k)(2)** never attempted to sell content or ask payment for access to the website. **REDACTED (b)(6), (b)(7)c, (k)(2)** was asked to discuss the Star Wars Episode III (SW3) movie release on the ET website. **REDACTED (b)(6), (b)(7)c, (k)(2)** observed that the torrent was released prior to its theatrical release, but he went to see it in the movie theater. Two days later, **REDACTED (b)(6), (b)(7)c, (k)(2)** downloaded the movie from the ET website. **REDACTED (b)(6), (b)(7)c, (k)(2)** did not remember who released the file to ET or how it would have gotten out from FOX Studios. **REDACTED (b)(6), (b)(7)c, (k)(2)** used WinRAR to reassemble the files into a playable or burnable format after downloading them online. **REDACTED (b)(6), (b)(7)c, (k)(2)** never rented or purchased and ripped DVD s to upload to the ET website. **REDACTED (b)(6), (b)(7)c, (k)(2)** was asked about **REDACTED (b)(6), (b)(7)c, (k)(2)**. **REDACTED (b)(6), (b)(7)c, (k)(2)** was aware that the ET website had attempted to use **REDACTED (b)(6), (b)(7)c, (k)(2)** to protect its members from Trojan Horse IP’s, educational institutions, the Motion Picture Assssiation of America (MPAA) and law enforcement groups. **REDACTED (b)(6), (b)(7)c, (k)(2)** was scrapped because it crashed the web server on several occasions. When **REDACTED (b)(6), (b)(7)c, (k)(2)** started downloading movies, he did not know that the MPAA was going after people trading movies over the internet. **REDACTED (b)(6), (b)(7)c, (k)(2)** then heard that the MPAA was sending letters to individuals they had identified as participating in the activity and ordering them to stop. **REDACTED (b)(6), (b)(7)c, (k)(2)** became more aware how illegal it was to participate with BT technology over time to trade movies. Because he was becoming aware that there was a crackdown on online piracy, **REDACTED (b)(6), (b)(7)c, (k)(2)** wanted to get out of the scene and have a lifestyle change. After the raid, **REDACTED (b)(6), (b)(7)c, (k)(2)** learned of the investigation by reading news stories on Yahoo news. **REDACTED (b)(6), (b)(7)c, (k)(2)** has not purchased a new computer since the raid on May 25, 2005. **REDACTED (b)(6), (b)(7)c, (k)(2)** has not had any contact with anyone from ET since the raid. **REDACTED (b)(6), (b)(7)c, (k)(2)** placed some downloaded software on his roommate's computer including the video game Call of Duty, computer defrag software and Microsoft Word.
